ADMINISTRATION
Brighton Creek is owned by the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís
of Pierce County Council District #3. The success of this spiritual
endeavor relies wholly on volunteers, who make up a team that meets
monthly to discuss operations, consult about growth and opportunities
based on the spiritual principles of the Bahá’í
Faith. This is the only Bahá’í conference facility
in the Pacific Northwest and has been serving the area since 1990.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE
In addition to helping serve on the Brighton Creek planning team,
volunteers can help in the garden or kitchen, participate in organized
workdays or weekends, provide financial support, or do other much-needed
projects around the grounds. Local Spiritual Assemblies and communities
can serve as a team, building the unity that is the cornerstone
of this endeavor.
Service to Brighton Creek also fulfills community and school service
projects.
“Know that nothing will
benefit thee in this life save supplication and invocation unto
God, service in His vineyard, and, with a heart full of love, be
in constant servitude unto Him.”
